How does the Forum Theater work? 

At the Forum Theater, the actors and actresses develop a short theater piece based on the collectivization of the participants' (actresses and actors) own experiences.

In this theater piece, there are several characters that represent different roles: the oppressed, the oppressor, the allies and the Curinga. The Curinga is the character that interacts with the audience, that is, with the spectactors and spectactrius. The postulate of the piece is that the oppressed always has the capacity of action to confront the oppressor. At the moment of greatest conflict, the Joker or Curinga stops the piece (STOP!). Through open dialogue by the public alternatives are proposed to try to solve the conflict on stage. It is then when the Curinga invites the spectactor or the spectactriu to replace one of the characters on stage. As many alternatives are tested as proposals arise.
