For 10 years, at La Xixa Teatre we have taught theIntersectional Forum Theater Facilitators training, where we have trained around 200 people throughout this time. With a look on theinterculturalityand theintersectionality, this training allows us to multiply the tools of forum theater and other methodologies that we use in our projects and interventions with different groups, both locally and internationally.

We understandthe forum theater as a tool of innovation necessary for social change. It allows us to humanize relationships and at the same time reflect, personally and collectively, on real challenges and everyday conflicts. Thanks to the tools and methodologies we work with, participants will learn to:

  • accompany in creative processes with theatrical bases of both direction and performance.

  • practice different experiential dynamics, games and exercises for group cohesion and reflection.

  • be Joker or Joker in the forum theater presentations.

  • delve deeper into topics related to Interculturality and Intersectionality with a holistic view.

  • use group facilitation tools.

During the training we will put special emphasis on the body and the voice in a creative way, we will question power relations and we will co-construct a piece of forum theater, which will later be presented in public to put into practice what has been worked on during the course
