The Conference "Creative Identities" is an international event aimed at young people, professionals who work with young people and youth and educational organisations. This event marks the end of the project1000 Layers.

 

The project "1000 Layers” is co-financed by the European Commission, and coordinated by La Xixa Teatre in collaboration with the entities DW-RS Productions from the Netherlands, Elan Interculturall from France, Rooftop Theater and Youth for Exchange and Understanding Cyprus from Cyprus.

The 1000 Layers project proposes an innovative methodological approach – the Creative Identities Method (CIM) – inthe generic prevention of radicalization that leads to violence among young people. The CIM fuses the most relevant tools of Identity Process Theory with creative methods commonly used in working with young people: Theater of the oppressed, Storytelling and Process Work.

We want this conference to be established as a starting point for sharing the CIM Methodology of the 1000 Layers project with the entire youth and educational community in a broad sense. We want it to support young people around their identities and how they explain themselves and their history. During this free and open conference, we will enjoy very special moments with talks, debates, workshops, theater, music and poetry... and much more!
